About The Position

As a full-time, unarmed loss prevention patrol Security Officer at a retail location in Saint Louis, Missouri, you will help safeguard clients and visitors by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting loss prevention, and providing customer service. You will communicate with shoppers, staff, and leadership, respond to security-related concerns, and follow site-specific procedures and policies. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 AM–7:30 PM, and Sunday, 11:00 AM–6:30 PM. The pay rate is $19.83 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site procedures, and document activities as required.
Help maintain a professional, welcoming environment while supporting loss-prevention and security operations.
