About The Position
SMI Security is hiring an experienced, professional, and dependable Security Officer for a high-rise condominium/hotel property in the Bal Harbour area. The position focuses on overnight security, loss prevention, access control, and resident and guest safety. This is a full-time role scheduled for 40 hours per week, paying $18.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Class D Security License.
- Previous security experience.
- Strong observation, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and punctuality.
Nice To Haves
- Hotel, high-rise, or Loss Prevention experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security patrols and monitor property access.
- Work closely with the Loss Prevention Team.
- Identify, document, and report suspicious activity and security concerns.
- Protect residents, guests, employees, and property.
