About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Driving Unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard the site and support loss prevention by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, documenting activity, and responding to incidents. The role involves professional interactions with employees, visitors, and drivers and following site-specific policies and procedures. A shift-claiming platform is available for exploring additional shifts.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license that complies with local regulations and is recognized in the state where the job is located; a driver's license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience.
Customer service experience.
Experience with access control systems and badge management.
Familiarity with alarm panel systems.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific policies.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity through required reports and communication channels.
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
