Security Officer Full Time Unarmed
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol position at a chemical and petrochemical location in Baytown, Texas. The officer will help safeguard clients by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, deterring incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position. The posted schedule is Wednesday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM; Thursday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM; and Saturday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or policy concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate observations and security concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and emergency responders as needed.
