About The Position

As a full-time, unarmed Security Officer in Rincon, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. In this access-control role, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain orderly operations. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities while providing customer service to clients.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, checkpoints, and restricted areas according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity.
