About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate setting in Ashburn, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and pays $23.36 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees while following site procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency-response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and contractor arrivals according to site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Help maintain a professional, welcoming environment, deter unauthorized activity, and report maintenance, access-control, or security-related concerns.
