About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Memphis, Tennessee, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible security presence. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer service. The role also involves responding to incidents and documenting patrols and security-related observations. The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Experience in a primarily driving post.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and appropriately to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.
