About The Position

As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location in Spartanburg, South Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is full-time and pays $20.50 per hour. The stated schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution location, including business areas, entry points, and perimeter.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations according to site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
