About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer at a technology location in Whitsett, North Carolina, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. You will communicate professionally, document observations using computer or tablet systems, and help support a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and pays $16.89 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate access, visitor, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services when required.
Observe access activity and report security concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives to help protect technology assets, proprietary information, and restricted work areas.
