About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a healthcare location in Mountain View, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role supports a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal’s culture through teamwork.

The position pays $25.50 per hour. The listed schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency-response activities as appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, healthcare personnel, and emergency responders when required.
