About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Brewton, Alabama, you will help safeguard a manufacturing and industrial location by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and providing professional service to employees, visitors, and vendors. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security-related incidents and support an orderly workplace. This is a part-time position scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, paying $13.39 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established protocols and notifying appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
