About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed security guard in Pooler, Georgia, serving a logistics and distribution location. The role involves screening people and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. A visible presence, professional communication, and customer service help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license.
Access control and badge experience.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles according to site procedures and access requirements.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
