About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients across industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role pays $17.25 per hour and offers either a 2 PM–10 PM or 10 PM–6 AM schedule. Security Guards provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
