About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer in Arlington, Virginia, for a temporary position. The role serves and safeguards clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The position pays $23.75 per hour and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with multiple shifts. Daily and weekly pay options are available.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and drug screening, subject to applicable law. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; work environments and conditions may vary by client site.
