About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location in Prince George, Virginia. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers. The role involves communicating professionally and using technology to document and report observations.

The position is listed as full time and pays $16.44 per hour. The posted schedule includes Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, perimeter locations, and exterior grounds; identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and support controlled entry and exit procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
