About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer in West Chester Township, Ohio. The role provides a reliable base schedule at an assigned site, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may vary their hours from week to week, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $16.44 per hour, paid weekly. The officer provides customer service while following site procedures, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access, responds to incidents, and documents security activity. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, trailer yard, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate contacts as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities through accurate reports and shift communications.
