About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers for client sites in the Southwest Suburbs. Officers serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
