About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for patrol and reporting at a healthcare location in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and facilities by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The role is scheduled overnight, with shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations before employment, if required.
Possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site requirements.
