About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Entry Review in West Palm Beach, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help maintain a secure and welcoming environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, reporting unusual activity, and providing professional customer service. Your attention to detail helps deter security-related incidents and support smooth operations. The position is full-time, pays $15.68 per hour, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while following site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles according to established access-control and prohibited-item procedures.
Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization before permitting entry to controlled areas.
Monitor access points, report suspicious activity or policy violations, and respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
