About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Omaha, Nebraska, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including manufacturing and industrial settings. At a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a welcoming, professional environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and document activity. This full-time position is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and pays $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Control vehicle, pedestrian, and material access in accordance with site requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, construction areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
