About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Entry Screening in Phoenix, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients in logistics and distribution environments. You will help maintain a secure location by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while collaborating with Allied Universal teammates. The posted pay rate is $18.30 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen individuals, packages, and belongings entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements.
Monitor access points and observe activity at the logistics and distribution location; report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter.
