Security Officer Entry Screening
About The Position
As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Niles, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including aerospace and defense. At an aerospace and defense location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and authorized items in accordance with site procedures. You will remain attentive, communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. The role is full-time and pays $16.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries according to site access requirements and established screening procedures.
- Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry into restricted aerospace and defense areas.
- Inspect packages, personal property, and vehicles for prohibited or unauthorized items while following site protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report concerns through established communication channels.
