About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location in Alvin, Texas, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service and clear communication, and report incidents reliably. You will work with a team that values agility, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Provide clear communication and reliable incident reporting.
