About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver for a utilities location in Mont Belvieu, Texas. The unarmed patrol officer will serve and safeguard the client by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and reporting security-related concerns. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and a team-focused culture.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must be valid in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of operational areas, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and authorized access as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-control activity, and observed conditions.
