Security Officer Full Time Patrol Incident Reporting

About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Moreland, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control. You will provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and retail staff; respond calmly to incidents and concerns; and use technology to document observations and activities. The position pays $19.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Loss prevention experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and retail staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, common spaces, loading areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, delivery, and vendor activity according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
