About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Streetsboro, Ohio. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support orderly operations. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and alignment with Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.60 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery-driver check-in procedures according to site requirements.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
