About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Patrol Unarmed Officer in Olive Branch, Mississippi, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, helps deter incidents, supports access control, and provides customer service and clear communication in a welcoming environment. The role is scheduled Monday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific policies, security procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
Maintain a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity while supporting a welcoming environment for authorized occupants and visitors.
