About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Officer in Brunswick, Georgia. The officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers, and employees while providing general security services. The role involves observing and reporting hazards, following company and client requirements and post instructions, participating in training, and interacting professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public. Available shifts include second shift, third shift, and weekend shift.

Requirements

Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Reliable means of transportation and communication.
Must pass required background and drug screenings.
Valid driver's license.
TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to clients.
Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements, including specific post instructions.
Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
