About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Officer in Channelview, Texas. The officer will help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security services to the client. The role involves observing, correcting, and reporting hazards; following company and client requirements and post instructions; completing training; and interacting professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public. The position pays $15.50 per hour. All shifts are available, and the employee must be able to work weekends and holidays. The employer states that an on-site interview with the account manager is scheduled within 48 hours of application if requirements are met, and applicants can view the work site and environment during the process.

Requirements

Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Reliable means of transportation and communication.
Must pass required background and drug screenings.
Valid driver’s license.
Required TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
Valid security license required.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
