About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Officer in Channelview, Texas. The officer will help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security services to clients. The role requires professional interaction with clients, visitors, employees, and the public, and compliance with DSI and client requirements and post instructions. Available shifts include first, second, third, and weekend shifts. The listed pay is $15.50; no pay period is specified.

Requirements

Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Reliable means of transportation and communication.
Must pass required background and drug screenings.
Valid driver’s license.
TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.
Valid security license required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to clients.
Observe, correct, and report hazards to promote safety.
Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements, including specific post instructions.
Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
