Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Readiness

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Allen, Texas. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role follows site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities. The position pays $22.15 per hour and is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notifications according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic according to site policies; verify credentials and assist with access-control procedures as assigned.
Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
