About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication. You will follow security procedures and site-specific policies, respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $22.28 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates must meet the stated age requirement of at least 21 years for consideration. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this position, as stated in the posting.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Support access control activities.
