About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a residential location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will safeguard residents, guests, vendors, and clients by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access and visitor activity, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service. The role includes responding to incidents and alarms, keeping accurate records, and reporting unusual conditions and other concerns to site management or emergency responders as appropriate. The posted schedule is 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $18.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screening, to the extent permitted by law.
State or local security licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies.
Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity records.
Respond professionally to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
Observe and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, unusual conditions, and other security-related issues to site management.
