About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Atlantic City, New Jersey, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will document security-related activity and respond professionally to concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a security-related license may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious activity or unauthorized access and help deter prohibited conduct.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications according to site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
