About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer on patrol at a retail and mall location in North Las Vegas, Nevada, you will help safeguard clients and contribute to a welcoming environment. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist visitors, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

The position pays $19.10 per hour and is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, retail tenants, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions and potential policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and local emergency responders as needed.
