About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Screening Compliance Review in Mesquite, Texas, serving clients in logistics and distribution. The role helps maintain a secure environment by monitoring access, screening people and items, reporting security concerns, and providing professional customer service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $16.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Applicable licensing may be required before employment, depending on state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and packages according to site procedures and applicable requirements.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor or delivery activity as required.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
