About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Records Associate in Mesquite, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including logistics and distribution. At a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, use communication skills to support site operations, and work as part of a reliable team.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, packages, and belongings according to established screening procedures, using assigned screening equipment as directed.
Monitor access points and help deter unauthorized entry into restricted operational areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business perimeter, and document observations and security-related concerns.
