About The Position
As a Security Officer Pedestrian Screening in Saint Peters, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.98 per hour. Requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, vehicle-related issues, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports and logs.
