About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Security Screening in Newton, Mississippi, you will safeguard clients at a logistics location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, support access control and incident reporting, and provide customer service and communication. The role is part-time, with shifts listed Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Support access control and incident reporting.
