About The Position

As a Security Officer Arrival Screening in Ontario, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including logistics and distribution. At a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials according to site procedures. You will stay attentive to security concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; a valid license is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-screening requirements.
Screen employees, visitors, packages, and personal property according to established logistics facility policies and procedures.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to site leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
