About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as retail and malls. In this unarmed retail patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. The position is full-time and pays $23.49 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Applicants must have at least six months of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, exterior areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, complete required reports, and support site-specific loss prevention practices to help maintain an orderly retail environment.
