About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Inspection in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The position is full-time, pays $16.38 per hour, and follows an overnight schedule: Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
