As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a caring, team-focused approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas of the facility.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
