About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Guest Assistance in Mountain View, California, serving a healthcare setting. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, reliability, care, innovation, and integrity. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $25.50 per hour. Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements required by applicable state or local laws and regulations prior to employment, where required.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to designated site contacts.
- Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
