About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Saint Louis, Missouri. The officer will help maintain a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel through visible patrols, customer service, access monitoring, incident response, and clear reporting. The position pays $16.70 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle information.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Observe package handling and facility activity for potential policy concerns, report suspicious activity, and maintain clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
