About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Bridgeton, Missouri, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer conducts routine and random patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients. The role involves responding professionally to incidents and alarms, monitoring access points, reporting concerns, and completing accurate patrol and incident documentation. The schedule includes Monday and Thursday from 5:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.63 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements that may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of telecommunications and technology facilities, including business areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, unusual conditions, damaged property, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records according to site-specific requirements.
