About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol security officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Plainfield, Indiana, you will safeguard clients and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, support visitor management, and help deter security-related incidents. You will also respond calmly to incidents and emergencies, follow site procedures and reporting protocols, and document activity. The scheduled hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management in accordance with site policies.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management as needed.
