About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security & Guest Services Officer in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public. It is a customer-service-forward, front-facing position requiring professional one-on-one interactions, security awareness, attentiveness, keen observation, and steady movement throughout the shift. Officers perform visible security duties and routine foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, enforce site policies, and follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Strong customer service mindset and professional appearance and demeanor.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Must meet all pre-employment requirements.
Must be willing and able to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification if not currently certified.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license preferred.
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
Maintain steady movement throughout the shift, including foot patrols and monitoring assigned areas.
