About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Patrol Unarmed Officer for a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in San Bernardino, California. The officer will safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication. The role involves responding to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific procedures, and documenting activity in accordance with company and site requirements.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor site access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
