About The Position

As a Security Officer Incident Response in Middletown, Pennsylvania, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication to employees and visitors. The role is full-time and scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, at a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. The position requires responding to incidents and critical situations calmly and using a problem-solving approach. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Applicable licensing may be required before employment, and a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Communicate with employees and visitors.
